The Orthopedic Partners Clinic in Park City, Utah, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. We are a leading healthcare facility committed to providing exceptional orthopedic care to our patients. 

Responsibilities: 
• Perform thorough follow-up and resolution management of insurance claims. 
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of claims to insurance providers. 
• Identify and resolve claim denials, rejections, and discrepancies in a proactive and efficient manner. 
• Collaborate with insurance companies, patients, and internal departments to resolve outstanding balances and payment discrepancies. 
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical coding, billing regulations, and insurance guidelines. 
• Review and reconcile patient accounts, ensuring accuracy in billing and payment postings. 
• Monitor aging accounts receivable and initiate appropriate actions for collections. 
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing inquiries and concerns regarding billing and insurance claims. 
• Assist with month-end closing procedures and generate reports on accounts receivable status. 
• Collaborate with the finance team to optimize revenue cycle management processes. 

Qualifications: 
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical accounts receivable. 
• Strong understanding of medical billing practices, insurance claim processing, and reimbursement procedures. 
• Familiarity with billing software and electronic medical records (EMR) systems. 
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with insurance providers, patients, and internal stakeholders. 
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 
• High level of integrity and professionalism when handling sensitive patient information. 
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
