Lifestyle Magazine Editor

The Park Record is looking for an editor to oversee and provide content to a lifestyle magazine that focuses on real estate, interior design, garden and all things home, topics.

The Park City and Wasatch back HOME lifestyle magazine is 7 - year established quarterly publication. It reaches Park City and Wasatch back area and is also published on Parkrecord.com that extends readership outside the community and state.

Responsibilities include, develop & establish content ideas, write and review material. Ensure material makes sense and portrays the style and idea of HOME lifestyle publication to our readers. Verify facts and sources, content creation, work with contributing writers to develop ideas for articles and decide what to publish. You will oversee the content of the entire publication, determine topics to cover and submit content on deadline.

This position is contract based and mostly remote with opportunities to expand to additional publications. Compensation is based on experience with bonus opportunities. Please have a BA in journalism, creative writing or mass communication, experienced in writing lifestyle content. Attach resume, writing samples and references.
