Currently seeking an experienced Excavator Operator Equipment Operator to help with the installation of residential sewer laterals and water lines for a well established Salt Lake based Plumbing, Electrical, & HVAC company.
This is a great “direct-hire” opportunity for any experienced excavator equipment operator interested in a long-term career position with a reputable company.
Benefits for the Excavator Operator / Equipment Operator position includes:
Starting Wage: $28.00 - $32.00 an hour DOE
Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00am – 4:00pm

This is a “direct-hire” opportunity and not a “temp” or “contract” position.
Primary Responsibilities of the Excavator Operator / Equipment Operator include:
Digging trenches & backfilling for residential sewer laterals and water lines.
Shoveling, sweeping, & general site clean up
Install and/or remove residential sewer and water lines
Knowledge of installation of water/sewer laterals
Follow OSHA and company safety procedures.
Complete assigned tasks within the allotted time
Report equipment defects as needed
Proficient in operating a track hoe of many sizes, and small tools
Able to maintain all types of equipment
Qualifications for the Excavator Operator / Equipment Operator include:
Previous excavator, mini excavator, and skid steer experience is required. Previous dump truck experience is a plus.
Must be able to read plans, set & shoot grades, and align pipe runs.
Previous construction experience, residential and/or commercial is a must.
Trenchless water, sewer & gas experience is a plus.
Proficient loading, unloading, and securing equipment on transport trailers is required.
Must maintain a valid Utah drivers license with a good driving record. No CDL required.
