Revit Designer/Drafter - 1976906

As a Revit Drafter, you will play a crucial role in converting the designs of engineers and designers into technical drawings, plans, calculations, and specifications for various stages of projects, including Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Documents. You will work closely with the design team to ensure the successful execution of projects according to company standards and strategic direction.

Responsibilities:

• Provide quality customer service, including interacting with customers, answering inquiries, and effectively handling complaints.
• Work as a revolutionary team player, mentor junior staff, and maintain a positive attitude.
• Stay updated with professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, and participating in professional societies.
• Collect materials required for designs and collaborate with the design team.
• Draft designs using computer-aided design (Revit) software.
• Create diagrams and layouts to illustrate the workflow of designs.
• Review drawings and designs with the team and adjust them according to feedback.
• Ensure designs comply with company regulations and quality standards.
• Set up drawings and configuration files for projects.
• Provide basic calculations for use by the design team.
• Manage general downloads and files received from outside consultants and architects.
• Work from rough sketches, verbal direction, and specifications provided by engineers and designers.
• Provide quality customer service by interacting with customers and effectively addressing their inquiries and complaints.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications, and participating in professional societies.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Revit software.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Prior experience in Revit drafting and designing preferred.
• Knowledge of engineering principles and construction processes is a plus.
