We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team. The Accounting Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of our organization, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements and reports. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn and utilize the Global Shop Solutions ERP system to manage accounting activities effectively.
Responsibilities:
o Supervise and manage the daily operations of the accounting department including:
· Month-end and year-end close processes
· Accounts payable and receivable
· Cash receipts and disbursements
· General ledger maintenance and reconciliations
· Payroll processing and benefits administration
· Utilities and vendor payment management
· Capital assets accounting and reconciliations
· Check runs and disbursements
· Fixed asset tracking and reporting
· Debt management and reporting
o Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
o Conduct revenue and expenditure variance analysis to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
o Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and standards.
o Collaborate with auditors to complete annual audits and address any discrepancies.
o Learn and effectively utilize the Global Shop Solutions ERP system to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
o Implement best practices for data entry, reporting, and reconciliations within the ERP system.
o Develop, implement, and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Requirements:
o Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
o Proven experience as an Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor, or Finance Manager.
o Strong proficiency in accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
o Advanced knowledge of MS Office, accounting software, and databases.
o Experience with ERP systems; familiarity with Global Shop Solutions ERP is a plus.
o Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to handle large datasets.
o Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
