We are seeking a skilled, motivated estimator to join our team. Gritton provides industry-leading equipment and support for HVAC, hydronic, and steam systems. The position is responsible for developing reliable cost estimates for various projects.
Estimator Duties and Responsibilities:
· Provide accurate bids on a hard deadline schedule.
· Review scopes-of-work documents to understand project’s requirements
· Compiling a list of equipment necessary to complete the project and estimating their costs
· Obtaining quotes from multiple suppliers
· Collaborating with suppliers, engineers, and contractors to prepare accurate estimates
Estimator Requirements and Qualifications:
· Previous estimating experience preferred, but not required. Training is available to qualified candidates.
· Interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
· Critical thinking, analytical, and organization skills
· Time management skills
· Experience navigating a CRM
