Location: Columbus Ohio
Reports to: Deposit Operations Manager

Position Summary:

The Deposit Operation Specialist must have a solid understanding of Bank products, regulations, processes, and department procedures. Must have the ability to advise internal business partners, team members, and clients on all deposit products; providing guidance and support to new or less experienced staff. Individual must demonstrate strong multi-tasking and cross-functional team skills, utilizing a high degree of resourcefulness, problem solving. Must display excellent written and verbal communication as well as strong decision making skills. Must have a professional attitude and friendly demeanor when interacting with all internal partners.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience
• A minimum of 2 years of previous bank operations experience or related areas

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Position requires a strong working comprehension of Deposit Operations activities and banking compliance
• Fiserv - Cleartouch experience preferred
• Knowledge and understanding of banking regulations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to effectively communicate with bank personnel of all levels, and bank clients
• Strong analytical, organization, problem solving skills
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently, establish priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Basic Office Machine Operation Skills, Printers, Scanners, Copiers, Fax, postage machine, etc.
