Your Role

As a Business Analyst, you will leverage your skills and experience to:

• Deliver WTC Utah’s world-class Pathfinding service to SMEs, which includes:
  1. Evaluating a company’s readiness and international strategy to provide insightful guidance and counseling.
  2. Identifying and defining a client’s consumer base, both domestically and internationally, to strategize product and service positioning.
  3. Generating and delivering custom market research to guide companies venturing into new countries.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance across multiple sectors and geographies, understanding the legal and regulatory landscape, and able to advise that business activities are conducted in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments and teams to enhance communication and service optimization.
• Conduct occasional trainings on international business essentials and regulatory compliance.
• Present custom research and briefings to industry clients and state government officials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, marketing analytics, statistics, business, or related disciplines
• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in B2B consulting/advising; experience in a professional services environment is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Experience managing complex, multi-dimensional projects.
• Proficiency in public speaking and presentation delivery.
• Experience in business, industry, and/or global economic analysis.
• Proficiency in using Excel for data analysis and spreadsheet development.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in business administration, marketing, economics, or related disciplines
• Direct B2B sales or advising experience.
• Trade industry or other international business experience
• Experience with the following services: Salesforce, Gazelle A.I., Euromonitor, Customs Info, Fitch Solutions.

Reporting Structure

• Your success will be gauged by your ability to deliver high-quality market research and analytics to companies pursuing international strategies.
• You will report directly to the Sr Director of Global Business Services, who will set organizational goals and guide the division’s overall strategy.
